So after a long month a party was just the thing. My daughter has been wanting a mad hatter tea party for oh about a year now..... and I think we pulled it off nicely.
We hung paper lanterns of all different shapes and sizes from the ceiling and we put clear small glass vases with bright color flowers all over the party rooms.
I found a great little porcelain tea set that was poke-a-doted with each cup a different color for the kids and some fun colored tea pots (yay for home sense and cheep prices). I found a wonderland tea cup set for my daughter too!
I filled the big table with finger foods perfect for a tea party( up till 3am the night b4 baking),
with my Alice/ Mad hatter tea party cake as the center piece.
The kids, being only 4 don't have much of an attention span for a lot of games and what not, so they decorated there own hats and played "pin the smile on the Cheshire cat" (we made the game 2 mins b4 the party guest arrived)
We even had a visit from the Mad Hatter himself, escorted by the Red Queen.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and i got a bit "your the best Mommy ever" from my daughter!!
